My Congratulatory Wishes As Regard My New Appointment As The DEIC:- Salami Rahman Speaks
I Have Received Over 150 Congratulation Wishes As Regard My New Appointment As The DEIC
The recently appointed Deputy Editor In Chief of socioscope news agency "Mr. Salami Rahman" who spoke with our correspondent shows his excitement as regard the way friends, family and colleagues has been sending him congratulation wishes via SMS, calls, whatsapp and different channels including physical congratulation approach. Mr. Salami Rahman said he has received over 150 congratulation wishes within 48hours in office, he further explained that he never knew the task ahead of him is as many as he has always think, not until some persons started making him understand the fact that he has many things to do everytime each and everyone call to congratulate him on the appointment.
DEIC: "Just today, I got a lot of messages from friends, colleagues and family . I have met some personalities already and have also been given some slots which I never expected I could deserve and as well given some invitations to represent the news agency outside the university".
The honour have been addressed with by members of the news agency since my new appointment has been one of the greatest one,
I thank God for the grace and opportunity because without Him I wouldn't have been who I am today. Greater height is where he has promised to take me to and where I would get to.
Every greeting sends a message to me however, that I carry a position that much is expected from. This never worried me because I believe in God who strengthens me. I'll also like to thank Socioscope News Agency for giving me the opportunity to serve in this position. I promised it my best.

9th Assembly: NASS Introduces Stringent Conditions For Journalists’ Accreditation

Ahead of the inauguration of ninth assembly, the National Assembly management has released 20 stringent conditions for journalists and media houses’ accreditation. In two separate letters addressed to the chairmen of Senate and House of Representatives Press Corps on Monday by the Director of Information, Agada Emmanuel, the requirements were categorised under permanent and temporary accreditation. According to the letters, this new accreditation guidelines shall come into effect from June 11, 2019. The prerequisites for the coverage of the activities of the National Assembly before the expiration of the present leadership was also aimed at reducing the number of journalists covering the legislative arm.
