Magnitude quake hits Iran


A 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck Iran near its border with Iraq Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
At least six people in Iran have been reported dead, according to state television, which also reported that eight villages had been damaged by the tremors.
The epicenter of the quake, which struck at a depth of 33.9 kilometers, was 32 kilometers southwest of Halabjah in Iraq.
