Reading Marathon : Nigerian attempts to break world record

Treasure Olawunmi Bayode , is attempting to set a new Guinness world record for ‘The Longest Reading Marathon (Read Aloud).’ According to tweets on his Twitter page, he plans to read for 120 hours straight with only two hours break every 24 hours. Bayode began reading at 1:30pm on Monday reading Carnivorous City by Toni Kan. The marathon is ongoing at the You Read Library, Herbert Macaulay Way, Yaba in Lagos. “I have always loved to read good materials right from when I was in secondary school.,” he wrote on Twitter. “I am doing this for the culture! For the reading culture.
