OAU : DSA issues fresh directive on departmental levies

The Dean of the students' affairs just issued a 'fresh directive' to all faculties executives and at the level of department not to charge more than N500 for both fresh students and the returning students. This is contained  in a release signed by the dean, he however urged students that have paid more than the slated amount to report to the Department of students affairs, Obafemi Awolowo University, ile-ife

9th Assembly: NASS Introduces Stringent Conditions For Journalists’ Accreditation

Ahead of the inauguration of ninth assembly, the National Assembly management has released 20 stringent conditions for journalists and media houses’ accreditation. In two separate letters addressed to the chairmen of Senate and House of Representatives Press Corps on Monday by the Director of Information, Agada Emmanuel, the requirements were categorised under permanent and temporary accreditation. According to the letters, this new accreditation guidelines shall come into effect from June 11, 2019. The prerequisites for the coverage of the activities of the National Assembly before the expiration of the present leadership was also aimed at reducing the number of journalists covering the legislative arm.
