OAU : Management introduces new course

The management of Obafemi Awolowo just introduced new course, and the opportunity is opened to new students. The  information on the eportal goes thus ;

"Special Opportunity to Request Change of Course to B.Sc. Entrepreneurship and Industrial Extension
The University is providing an opportunity for suitable and qualified PART-1 students who have already secured admission to the University for other courses to apply for a change of course to the above mentioned program.
Qualified candidates must possess O'Level credits at not more than two sittings in the following subjects:

(i)    English Language and Mathematics, plus
(ii)   One Social Science subject (Economic/Government/Geography)
(iii)  Any two from (Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Agricultural Science/Literature-in-English/Yoruba/Igbo/Hausa/CRK/IRK/History)".

Delta confirms fresh cases of monkey pox

The Delta state government has confirmed three reported cases of suspected monkey pox disease in the state. The State Commissioner for Health, Dr Nicholas Azinge, made the disclosure Tuesday in Asaba at a media briefing, according to the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN. 9th Assembly: NASS Introduces Stringent Conditions For Journalists’ Accreditation

Ahead of the inauguration of ninth assembly, the National Assembly management has released 20 stringent conditions for journalists and media houses’ accreditation. In two separate letters addressed to the chairmen of Senate and House of Representatives Press Corps on Monday by the Director of Information, Agada Emmanuel, the requirements were categorised under permanent and temporary accreditation. According to the letters, this new accreditation guidelines shall come into effect from June 11, 2019. The prerequisites for the coverage of the activities of the National Assembly before the expiration of the present leadership was also aimed at reducing the number of journalists covering the legislative arm.
