MY WORDS OF APPRECIATION - Hon. Man Pea.

While adopting succinctness and lexical conciseness as a watchword, I would not do without picking from the eternal words of Steve Maraboli which states that "Those who have the ability to be grateful are the ones who have the ability to achieve greatness".

In the light of this, I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude for your illimitable kindness, support and votes which led to the accomplishment of the great vision. I pray that the God, which I serve day and night, will never forsake everyone Of us. My immeasurable appreciation goes to *Mr. Shittu Akeem O*.(Socioscope News Agency Editor-In-Chief), *Mr. Wisdom Hagia Sophia* (Megaphone news agency Editor-In-Chief),  *Mr. Omole Isaac* (Former NANCE PRO), *Mr. Olaoluwa Joseph* (Former ACJOAU General Secretary), *Miss Adeyeye Mofehintoluwa* (Public Voice Editor-In-Chief) for your unflinching support and sagely words of advice. I pray that the spirit of leadership, which God has bestowed on you, shall not diminish but rather shall proliferate in rapid proportion!

It will be a mark of gross ungratefulness if i do not appreciate  the immense support of *Socioscope News Agency members, Megaphone News Agency, Radars News Network, Stesa News Agency, Voice of Sossanites, Public Voice, Nasel Communications Bureau, Icon news, Language arts Press, Insider news network, Echoes of Accounting, OAU Peeps, News Track, Beacons News Network, Kowee News Agency, Reformers news network, Campus Villa, Oau Kilonsele, DSNA, OAU Smartbrains, Sniper News Network, Lukmon Fasasi Blog, Beyondwatch News Agency, The Navigator Board, Independent News Agency, Chronicles News Agency, The Reflector* and to all other news agencies i cant recollect at the moment. I say a very big thanks to you all.

My appreciation will be incomplete if I do without appreciating the support of my team members *(#Team Hon. Man Pea)* led by *Mr. Adams Damola* (Socioscope News Agency Marketing Manager) and *Mr. Salami Rahman* (Socioscope News Depty Editor In chief). Truly,we almost lost hope having noticed that the pseudonym was not written on the ballot paper which created an element of doubt on the actualization of the great and long-conceived vision. But,of course,glory be to God for the Success of the electioneering process which went as expected.I,Okeowo Olasunkanmi,say I so much appreciate you all.

It was a dramatic ecstasy few minutes after the celebration and jubilation over  the success of the electioneering process of ACJOAU which ushered me in as the President-Elect of the Association of Campus Journalists OAU. The further gratifying news of my appointment as the Electoral Commission Chairman of Faculty of Education Obafemi Awolowo University impending NUESA elections lends credence to the massive support from NUESA Electoral Commission Members. I guess this appointment would have been mere  consolation if I had lost the presidential election but I so much appreciate my faculty to have deemed it fit to appoint me even after triumphing in the election. With this I say a very good thanks to  my departmental president, *Com.Ogunleye Omotayo(jaypee)*, who stood by me throughout the process and offered indispensable words of advice. And to all students of faculty of Education Obafemi Awolowo University,I say a big thank you and fraternal felicitations.

To members of the Electoral Committee of ACJOAU led by *Mr. Lukmon Fasasi*, I say a very big thanks to you all for conducting a free,fair and credible election. I salute you all.

To all  members of ACJOAU2015/2016 session executives council, I say a very big thanks to you all. I so much appreciate the lesson learnt all through the time we served together as members of the EC. So much appreciate your collective decision which led to my appointment as the association librarian which played a pivotal role in my electioneering process. As my service as the librarian was one of the reason why I was able to convince some electorates of my competence as the President of the association. Thank you so much.

To my co contestants, *Mr. Alokan Oluwaseun* and *Mr. Abegunde Cephas*, I so much appreciate your sportsmanship, your act of leadership and the gross zeal to serve. I want to implore you all to join hands with the executives-elect as we all pledged to contribute our quota and continue to be an active member of the association either we are elected or not at the manifesto night. Thank you so much.

To all members of the EC-elect, I say congratulations to you all and am glad to tell you that our successes are not just a means of celebration but a pristine avenue to surpass the giant strides of our predecessors who have laid a very feisty foundation for us to build on. Once again, I say congratulations.

9th Assembly: NASS Introduces Stringent Conditions For Journalists’ Accreditation

Ahead of the inauguration of ninth assembly, the National Assembly management has released 20 stringent conditions for journalists and media houses’ accreditation. In two separate letters addressed to the chairmen of Senate and House of Representatives Press Corps on Monday by the Director of Information, Agada Emmanuel, the requirements were categorised under permanent and temporary accreditation. According to the letters, this new accreditation guidelines shall come into effect from June 11, 2019. The prerequisites for the coverage of the activities of the National Assembly before the expiration of the present leadership was also aimed at reducing the number of journalists covering the legislative arm. Sri Lanka: Buddhist leader stokes anti-Muslim tension A manhunt is on in Sri Lanka for a hard-line Buddhist leader after a series of attacks on mosques and Muslim-owned businesses that authorities accuse him of encouraging. President Maithripala Siresena had vowed to investigate anti-Muslim hate crimes after assuming power in 2015, however, attacks have escalated over the past two weeks. Another Muslim shop in the town of Kahawatte was reportedly burned to the ground this week by unidentified attackers.
