Trump says he represents America, ‘not the globe’

U. S President Donald Trump says his aim is to serve the U. S . and not the rest of the world , doubling down on his “ America First ’’ message in remarks to a conservative conference.
“ This is the U. S of America I ’ m representing; I ’ m not representing the globe.
“ I ’ m representing your country, ” Trump tells the Conservative Political Action Conference on Friday.
Trump vowed to toss out multilateral trade deals , bolster U . S industry and increase military spending as he remakes the Republican Party in his image with a focus on the “American worker . ”
Trump stresses a common allegiance of all Americans to their country, pointing to the “ same red blood of great patriots’’ flowing through the veins of all citizens .

9th Assembly: NASS Introduces Stringent Conditions For Journalists’ Accreditation

Ahead of the inauguration of ninth assembly, the National Assembly management has released 20 stringent conditions for journalists and media houses’ accreditation. In two separate letters addressed to the chairmen of Senate and House of Representatives Press Corps on Monday by the Director of Information, Agada Emmanuel, the requirements were categorised under permanent and temporary accreditation. According to the letters, this new accreditation guidelines shall come into effect from June 11, 2019. The prerequisites for the coverage of the activities of the National Assembly before the expiration of the present leadership was also aimed at reducing the number of journalists covering the legislative arm.
