Anglican Students' Fellowship(ASF) of Obafemi Awolowo University Holds Her Annual 'choice' Program

Main bowl of OAU's sport complex was filled with a mixture of fun and the Holy Ghost on the 22nd of September 2016 as ASF OAU held her choice program. Choice is an annual program where new excos of the fellowship are presented to the congregation for a new academic session, this program is usually dreaded by members who does not want to be 'carried' as excos, they try as much as possible to stay anonymous but what God has said no one can change.

The outgoing president of the fellowship, Pastor Babatunde Ayilola who also doubles as the University Joint Christian Mission(UJCM) Coordinator was full of praises for God and thanked every one who has made his tenure a success after Pastor Daramola declared the program open.

Members of the fellowship were all excited and filled with joy when the new President of the fellowship in the name of Osoteku Samuel Adedayo who is a 400L student of the department of Agric Economics was presented. 

After the presentation,  Pastor Tope Awofisayo, the senior pastor of Communion Christian Centre prayed for the past and new excos and this marked the end of the wonderful program till next academic session when new excos will come on board.

9th Assembly: NASS Introduces Stringent Conditions For Journalists’ Accreditation

Ahead of the inauguration of ninth assembly, the National Assembly management has released 20 stringent conditions for journalists and media houses’ accreditation. In two separate letters addressed to the chairmen of Senate and House of Representatives Press Corps on Monday by the Director of Information, Agada Emmanuel, the requirements were categorised under permanent and temporary accreditation. According to the letters, this new accreditation guidelines shall come into effect from June 11, 2019. The prerequisites for the coverage of the activities of the National Assembly before the expiration of the present leadership was also aimed at reducing the number of journalists covering the legislative arm.
