GREAT IFE STUDENTS', ASUU, NASU AND SSANU STORM OSOGBO

Reported by Conscious Pen

The erstwhile acting VC of OAU, Professor Anthony Elujoba was granted bail by Osogbo high court on the 4th of July 2017. However, his bail was based on self  recognition while the judge declared that the schools' bursar will be granted bail on fulfilment of the following conditions:
a) payment of 15 million naira,
b) provision of two sureties who have property worth of 50million naira and the sureties must be staffs of OAU.

After the adjournment of the case, students started demanding for the probe of Omole, the former VC, they thereafter went to the EFCC stands,  supported by OAU staffs' shouting "EFCC, probe Omole, EFCC ole" and the protest continued as they moved straight to the government house, Osogbo, but they were not allowed in.

On getting to Osogbo roundabout, the PRO of the university stopped the  protesting students and addressed them, asking them to go back to their various buses, that Prof. Anthony Elujoba is not a politician and that "freeElujoba campaign is intercontinental."
The students and workers however, continued their jubilation as they journeyed to Ife.
