Tonto Dikeh was never a cleaner at Alaba market

Tonto Dikeh has denied that she has ever worked in Alaba international market in Lagos, as a cleaner and an errand girl.
"They have come again". These must have been the first words that formed in Tonto Dikeh's mind.

The Nollywood actress was left unsettled by rumours that she was once a cleaner and errand girl at the famous Alaba market in Lagos.

An online publication had earlier claimed that the actress’s "little beginnings" included running errands and cleaning shops at the famous business hub.


In a recent radio interview Tonto Dikeh said she had never lived in Lagos before rising to stardom.

According to her, it was stardom that brought her to Lagos.

She said, “False story oo. This came out from a fake account, the same account that claimed Don Jazzy disvirgined their mother. I never lived in Lagos before stardom. Infact, stardom brought me to Lagos!! Too many unconfirmed stories"

9th Assembly: NASS Introduces Stringent Conditions For Journalists’ Accreditation

Ahead of the inauguration of ninth assembly, the National Assembly management has released 20 stringent conditions for journalists and media houses’ accreditation. In two separate letters addressed to the chairmen of Senate and House of Representatives Press Corps on Monday by the Director of Information, Agada Emmanuel, the requirements were categorised under permanent and temporary accreditation. According to the letters, this new accreditation guidelines shall come into effect from June 11, 2019. The prerequisites for the coverage of the activities of the National Assembly before the expiration of the present leadership was also aimed at reducing the number of journalists covering the legislative arm.
