Timi Dakolo's protégé, Idyl wins voice of Nigeria

Idyl, a contestant on The Voice Nigeria, has been named winner of the second season of the singing competition.

Idyl was on the team of Timi Dakolo, soul/R&B singer.

He was crowned on Sunday night at the grand finale of the show.

Ebube of Team Patoranking took the second position, Syemca came third while Wow took the fourth position.

Symeca is the brother of Chike, first runner-up of the last edition.

Idyl goes home with a grand prize of a record deal, a luxury SUV, and an all expense paid trip to Dubai.

The Voice Nigeria was sponsored by Airtel Nigeria.
