Smiling and relaxed Michelle Obama makes her first public appearance

After a leisurely three month vacation, Michelle Obama has made her first public appearance since the inauguration.
Looking refreshed and relaxed after her three-month vacation, the former first lady greeted the audience with a smile and a wave at the AIA Conference on Architecture 2017 in Florida on Thursday.
Obama was the keynote speaker at the event, organized by the American Institute of Architects, where she spoke about her time as Chicago’s assistant commissioner of planning and development.

9th Assembly: NASS Introduces Stringent Conditions For Journalists’ Accreditation

Ahead of the inauguration of ninth assembly, the National Assembly management has released 20 stringent conditions for journalists and media houses’ accreditation. In two separate letters addressed to the chairmen of Senate and House of Representatives Press Corps on Monday by the Director of Information, Agada Emmanuel, the requirements were categorised under permanent and temporary accreditation. According to the letters, this new accreditation guidelines shall come into effect from June 11, 2019. The prerequisites for the coverage of the activities of the National Assembly before the expiration of the present leadership was also aimed at reducing the number of journalists covering the legislative arm.
